THE 1971 RAZORBACKS RECORD

These random pages of radio traffic are from the actual and original “Razorbacks Record” radio log book for 1971.  Log books for the other years have disappeared. Hopefully these pages will give you a little insight into “a day in the life” of a Razorbacks light fire team member.  The entries will indicate who was flying what aircraft and who was crewing it.  Where the missions were conducted and the end results.  A “Neg Results” entry does not mean that nothing happened.  It means that we did not have a confirmed body count or did not get into a big shoot’em up.  Be sure to read the small print.  USMC sniper, PRU and RF-PF (“ruff puffs”) operations were not recorded due to the sensitive nature of their missions.
